What My Broken Foot Taught Me About Selah + Energy …
Summary

What My Broken Foot Taught Me About Selah + Energy Healing
Selah and the power of stillness became more than a concept for me this summer—it became my lived experience.
After months of joy-filled movement—beaches in the U.S. and Mexico, rooftop pool parties, sun-drenched day parties, and deep, soul-feeding time with people I love and admire—I was confronted with something unexpected.

It was a season of joy, freedom, and full-body YES.
And I was here for all of it.
But behind the highlight reel was something I didn’t expect:
A forced pause.
Then Everything Got Quiet

I broke my foot.
And just like that, everything slowed down.
No more travel.
No more dancing.
No more moving from moment to moment with effortless flow.
I went from poolside champagne to sitting still—literally.
And that’s where the real healing began.
The Invitation to Sit With My Energy
At first, I resisted it.
I was restless. Frustrated. Even low-key mad at my body.
But in the stillness, I started to hear what I’d been ignoring:
My energy had been speaking all along.
Beneath the fun was fatigue.
Beneath the beauty was burnout.
Beneath the celebration was a soul craving a sacred pause.
This wasn’t just physical recovery.
It was energetic realignment.
It was spiritual recalibration.

Blockages Surface in the Pause
As an energy healer, I often guide others through release.
But this time, God put me on the table.
The pause revealed:
- Emotions I hadn’t cleared
- Wounds I’d outpaced
- Ideas I hadn’t grounded
- Boundaries I needed to reinforce
- Rest I was long overdue for
Stillness became the space where my blockages surfaced—so they could finally be released.
This is What Selah Feels Like
Selah—a sacred word whispered throughout the Psalms.
Pause. Reflect. Let that truth land in your spirit.
It’s not weakness.
It’s not a step back.
It’s not failure.
It’s a holy exhale.
It’s where your soul syncs back to God’s rhythm.
It’s the space where energy shifts—deeply, quietly, and forever.
Stillness is Strategy.

And Energy Healing Happens in the Pause.
We think we have to do to heal.
But some of the deepest clearing happens when we finally stop.
🌀 Stillness reveals the root.
🌀 Stillness opens the body to divine flow.
🌀 Stillness shows us what we no longer need to carry.
You don’t always need more action.
You need more alignment.
Let’s Make Space for the Selah Moments
Selah and the power of stillness is not just a biblical concept—it’s an energetic shift that invites healing in ways movement cannot.
If you’re tired…
If you’re feeling disconnected from your body…
If you’ve been going, glowing, and giving without pause…
This is your permission to be still.
💛 Create a Selah Space in your home.
Light a candle. Sit with your breath. Let your body speak.
Let stillness be your sanctuary, not your punishment.
💛 Ask yourself:
What energy have I been suppressing beneath all my activity?
Where is God asking me to surrender—not strive?
What gets to be cleared when I choose silence over speed?
💛 Allow energy to move in stillness.
Sometimes the shift happens when you sit.

If you’ve been craving a reset, this is your invitation to experience Selah and the power of stillness in your own body, your energy field, and your faith walk.
My Prayer for You (and Me)
That we remember joy is healing—and so is rest.
That we don’t wait for injury or exhaustion to slow down.
That we treat stillness not as a luxury—but as a necessity.
That we make space for Selah even in our most vibrant seasons.
May your energy realign.
May your nervous system soften.
May your spirit find what it’s been searching for—
Not in the next event, but in the now.
Stillness is where God speaks loudest.
And this time, I finally listened.
With love + divine pause,
Toni 🤍
